Michelle LeBlanc, REALTOR®

I’ve always had a fascination with storytelling and the stories that make up people’s lives. Growing up in a military family, I know what it’s like to pack up and leave one place to start over in another (and another and another!).

I have experienced various changes in living arrangements, from upsizing to downsizing. I have resided in both big old houses and tiny apartments. There was even a time when I bought a massive couch and had to search for a house that could accommodate it. Additionally, I've honed my skills in upcycling furniture, with a fair amount of success, but gardening has proven to be a challenge for me.

My journey has taken me to different locations such as Port Williams, Cornwallis, Ottawa, North Bay, Dartmouth, and eventually back to Ontario before finally settling in Pictou to open a bed and breakfast. However, I eventually felt the need for a change and knew that I wanted to return to the Annapolis Valley. It was there that I reconnected with the beauty of apple orchards, seaside villages, and the simple pleasure of driving through the rolling countryside just beyond my front door.

Over time, I have managed to own two bed and breakfasts of my own. I have also provided assistance to the lovely individuals at the Grand Pre Winery in establishing their new inn. Taking charge of creating and implementing marketing and networking events, trade shows, and Christmas tours has been a rewarding experience. My tasks have ranged from making beds and meeting movie stars to creating websites and baking countless muffins. Along the way, I have learned valuable skills such as properly folding fitted sheets, painting clawfoot tubs, and the pitfalls of hanging wallpaper incorrectly.

Being a small business owner has taught me the importance of developing relationships. I have come to understand that success in any endeavour relies heavily on the connections forged with guests, the community, and talented professionals within the industry. This team spirit is something I have found at Century 21 All Points, where we make use of all available resources - dedicated individuals, tried-and-true business and sales strategies, as well as ever-evolving and innovative technology. And above all, we never overlook the significance of human connections.

Real estate presents an exciting opportunity for me to reimagine and repurpose the most essential skill I learned through innkeeping - helping people feel at home. Each home represents a brand new chapter in the story of our lives, and I would be honoured to assist you in telling yours.
