I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation for Lyndsay Hart who helped me facilitate my migration from Ontario to Nova Scotia. I was having difficulty finding an agent in my target area of Annapolis Royal, despite many Google searches. You miss one key work and you don't get the hits. I ended up calling the Halifax office for more direction. After speaking with Lyndsay I knew I had my girl!
Lyndsay worked tirelessly to get me into the condo of my dreams. Being in different provinces we communicated virtually for the viewing which was a very interesting experience! Lyndsay was so patient and detail oriented, never missing a beat, being reactive but more importantly being proactive. She led me step by step through the Nova Scotian real estate market and system which is different enough from Ontario, just in acronyms alone. Lyndsay followed yo with me to ensure I kept covered all issues dealing with a move during a global pandemic and took an interest in my experience on all levels, providing valuable information in regards to local geographical area, amenities and utilities. I've lived in Ontario for 30+ years so to me electrical power is just called "hydro", of course that's due to Niagara Falls but we rarely thinks of the origin of a name. I would have been hard pressed to find a website for NS Hydro!
In our unique relationship due to the circumstances Lyndsay went above and beyond what I would consider standard. Lyndsay made multiple trips to Annapolis Royal to get me squared away, she even left me a Survival Kit to help me keep my sanity and get me through the move on top of my quarantine in one piece! The kit was amazing and so thoughtful, the utility knife and measuring tape haven't left my side... took me 5 days to find my own!
Lyndsay Hart is dedicated, professional and very personable without being intrusive. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an agent. I look forward to meeting her in person once I am out of quarantine!
Lyndsay was born in Toronto, Ontario but was raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia for most of her life except for a few short years spent in Sterling, Virginia while her mother worked with the Canadian Embassy. After graduating High School (Halifax West Alum - Go Warriors!), Lyndsay pursued a career as a Paralegal. She attended Nova Scotia Community College and obtained her Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2008. She spent the following ten years as a Paralegal with her role primarily based around family and property law.
After leaving the Paralegal industry, Lyndsay took on the Client Care Coordinator role with Century 21 All Points where she furthered her love for Real Estate and heard her calling to become a REALTOR®. Lyndsay’s favourite part of the real estate industry is getting to meet new people and really establishing a working relationship with those that she meets; one that lasts far beyond the real estate transaction. She enjoys getting to know those that she works with on a personal and professional level. Having worked from all sides of a real estate transaction such as, being a home buyer, to carrying out the paperwork on the legal end, to working in the backend of a real estate brokerage and now to working in the forefront of one, Lyndsay has a well rounded background to make sure you are well taken care of. Leveraging all of the skills she gained through her extensive experience is just a part of what Lyndsay does. She knows what needs to be done and gets it done with a smile. Working in the legal and real estate industries has prepared her to work tremendously under pressure and strict deadlines. Lyndsay is an asset to have on your side!
Lyndsay is a mother to three beautiful children and wife to a loving and supportive husband. When Lyndsay is not helping buyers and sellers navigate this crazy real estate market, you can find her running around town bringing her kids to various sporting events or combing through design magazines to find inspiration for her next home improvement. Lyndsay a budding plant mom and aspires to become a sommelier sometime in the near future!
