Bluenose Ghosts Festival

Alderney Landing's Bluenose Ghosts Festival is famously home to the scariest haunted house in Halifax Regional Municipality, and this year, it's gotten even scarier! Parental discretion is advised. The festival has plenty more scares in store, including a family-friendly escape room, a simulated casket ride and more! Tickets can be purchased on site from October 11th-15th & 18th-31st, 6:30pm-9:30pm.
Riverbreeze Fear Farm

With four haunted houses and two haunted mazes, visitors of Riverbreeze Fear Farm are in for a hair-raising night. Riverbreeze Farm's Fear Farm in Truro is another thrill-seeker favourite. Children under the age of 10 will not be admitted. Purchase tickets online here or with cash at the door.
Hellifax Horror Fest
october 19th-22nd | carbon arc cinema
What's better than watching scary movies during October? Hellifax is an annual horror film festival screening the spookiest feature length films and short films from around the world. The festival takes place at Carbon Arc Cinema in Halifax (1747 Summer Street). Buy your tickets here.
Halifax Zombie Walk
october 21st, 1pm | Meet at Halifax Public Gardens
Are you looking for a slow-walking good time? Don your best zombie attire and join a parade of terror during the Halifax Zombie Walk. All ages are welcome, participants must be respectful of others. Meeting spot is at the Halifax Public Gardens main gate.
