On July 6, 2023 the Halifax Commons Pool finally opened and it’s been packed with swimmers ever since! The pool is open every day with specific swim times for lane swimming and open swims, completely free of charge.

Before heading to the pool, you'll need to check the swim times online. There are multiple Open Swim/Lane swimming times throughout each day. At the end of each swim time, swimmers are asked to exit the pool so that the next lineup of swimmers can enter. I think this is a great system to allow for everyone to get a turn in the pool!
