Exploring Peggy's Cove

Hey guys welcome back to another’s Parker’s Perspective. Today I’m finally getting around to writing my article about Peggy’s Cove. Back in November my mom and I went to visit Peggy’s Cove. It was a beautiful sunny day with barely any clouds in the sky.
It was pretty warm for a November day! There were lots of people there and all of the little shops were open. There were artists all over making everything from wood carvings to paintings. We went into a bunch of the shops and met some of the artists.
After a bit of shopping we decided to head over to where the rocks and lighthouse are.
The whole outside has been redone. There are now ramps and boardwalks and a safety fence that goes all the way around the boardwalk area. They have added lots of seating so that visitors can sit and enjoy the ocean views. There was a musician playing a traditional German horn, that I later found out was called an alporn. It was cool to hear him play. I decided it was definitely time to go jump on the rocks. We headed up high and took in the view. The beautiful dark blue water sparkled in the sun. It looked like the ocean went on forever. After a bit we went into the gift shop and restaurant to check it out!
We had a great day at Peggy’s Cove. It is a beautiful place to visit, but be careful of the dangers. It is smart to stay a far distance from the ocean. It is very powerful and even on a clear day a rogue wave could come and sweep you into the waters. There are lots of signs posted warning visitors to be careful. And so, until next time, stay safe, and keep off of the black rocks!
