Easter Seals Kids to Camp
CENTURY 21 Canada© has been supporting Easter Seals in Canada since 1979. The money raised by all Century 21 offices in Canada goes to support the Easter Seals Kids to Camp program. This program each year gives thousands of Canadian kids fully-accessible summer camp experiences.
In 2019, Century 21 Canada companies and agents raised $946,044 for Easter Seals.
Since 1979, CENTURY 21 Canada© has raised over $11.1 million in support of sending Kids to Camp.
Century 21 All Points supports the Kids to Camp program by donating a portion of every closed sale to the program. In addition, for every Referral that we receive, we donate $210 from the closed transaction to the program.
Every $2,100 raised sends one deserving Easter Seals child to a special camp where great summer memories are created. In the past two years, we have sent three Kids to Camp through this program. Our goal is to send at least one child every year to camp.
There is at least one Easter Seals camp in each province and all monies raised go directly to the camp in the province where the money is raised.
In Nova Scotia, Camp Tidnish is operated by Easter Seals NS in partnership with the Rotary Club of Amherst. Located near Amherst, the camp hosts hundreds of campers each year providing them with an experience that includes hay rides, art activities, swimming boating and more. The camp is fully equipped to handle all of the physical, nutritional, medical mobility needs of the campers.
For a week each year, Camp Tidnish provides an experience where kids can be kids despite any physical or mental barriers. The camp allows kids the opportunity to develop friendships and experiences they will remember forever.
In the words of one camper... "the word 'Camp' means Home, Family, Memories and lots of Fun!"
