Clayton Park

Clayton Park was originally developed as a suburban alternative to Halifax's downtown core in the 1960's. The Clayton Park West addition was added in the 1990's. Between the two very close areas, they are home to a combination of detached single family homes, multi-family dwellings, upscale condominiums and lots of apartments. They range from more established homes to brand new luxury homes. Clayton Park and Clayton Park West can easily be considered one of the most diverse areas of Halifax. It spans from Glenforest Drive to Lacewood (between Fairview and Rockingham). The diversity is what keeps this neighbourhood a growing suburban area.
