Not all real estate agents are REALTORS®.
A REALTOR® is a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association and must adhere to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. This code goes above and beyond the standard set by local regulators, focusing on moral integrity, competency and dedication.
REALTORS® are also able to use resources that facilitate the home buying and selling process that real estate agents don’t have access to, like the local real estate board’s MLS® Systems, MLS® Home Price Index, the Realtor.ca Data Distribution Facility and more.
