This year's Canada Day is a significant one. Not only is it the first time in two years communities will be able to gather on July 1st, but it's the first time Halifax Regional Municipality has planned their annual Canada Day programming in partnership with the Mi'Kmaw Native Friendship Centre. This collaboration has produced a more inclusive event, honouring the culture and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples, the first people to take care of the land we now call Canada.

This year there are so many great concerts, family-friendly events, and experiences planned for the Canada Day long weekend. Keep reading so you don't miss a thing!
