Annapolis Valley is known across North America for its apple orchards, making it an important piece of Nova Scotia’s agricultural industry. At its peak Nova Scotia would harvest nearly 3 million barrels of apples each fall. Every spring the fragrance of the apple blossoms paired with the beauty of the apple trees in full bloom is a magical atmosphere to experience. The Apple Blossom Festival is a tradition that started in 1933 and has continued to this day. It’s a festival to celebrate Annapolis Valley’s apple industry, the areas natural beauty and local talents.

11th Annual Mother Goose Festival

Gather the kiddos and meet Little Bo Peep and her real sheep at the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal Park for this free event! You will also find Mother Goose along with your favourite nursery rhyme animals. There will be dancing, treasure finding, singing and much more.  From 10:00am-1:00pm Presented by the Dartmouth Kiwanis Club
